Leilani Kalb

EGLTC DIRECTOR & THEATRE TEACHER

Leilani Kalb has been a Theater Director/Educator at Elk Grove High School for 2 years, producing and directing 4 shows and teaching drama classes to grades 9-12. Her productions of Fly By Night and Legally Blonde The Musical received praise as productions that helped unite the VAPA programs at EGHS.

Having received her Bachelor's degree in Asian American studies and her Master’s from UCI’s Master of Arts in Teaching program, Leilani focuses her teaching and directing practices on equity and inclusivity. She strives to create a community within theatre that inspires students to lead with empathy and love.
